The Sunpak Auto 16R Pro Ring Flash is the most powerful, versatile and affordable Pro Quality ring flash available for DSLR's and 35mm SLR's. Its powerful circular flashtube combined with digital variable power control enables soft, even shadow free lighting suitable for macro, close-up as well as portrait photography. The Sunpak Auto 16R offers 3 modes of operation: Auto utilizing its built-in exposure sensor, Manual from full to 1/256 power and Multi which provides user selectable stroboscopic lighting from 1-90Hz. In addition, four user controllable bright white LED lights surround the flash tube to provide constant illumination equivalent to LED type ring lights when desired. What it actually means in practical terms that this is the most powerful and affordable ring flash available. If you set your camera to ISO 200 with an aperture of between f 5.6 / f/8 and at full power (1/1) the 16R Pro will properly expose a subject up to 10 feet away.
